a spark, a firefight from a thought predestined,

in memory of these fantasies,

Latent dreams, intrigued i had dosed a rip in the fabric,
entranced in colored light like a bar to a magnet,
and oh how my soul longs to protect me,
but glittered gold has a hold on me,

The same old ties that bound have found a new power again,
such innocent desires tower to a whirlwind again,
still i find, inside, such strength to be mirrored in me,
as kingdoms collide i'll struggle through the darkest of seas, however slowly.

Faulty leads, confused i had found a barren oasis,
and all the water saved left a mouth full of ashes,
and oh how these scars burn their mark on me,
as memories of these tendencies,
