Samskara 06:35
Dormant seeds awaiting light to resume their intentions, a spark, a firefight from a thought predestined, and oh how my heart hums with sympathy in memory of these fantasies, they're always around the bend, there's always something keeping me from falling in. Latent dreams, intrigued i had dosed a rip in the fabric, entranced in colored light like a bar to a magnet, and oh how my soul longs to protect me, but glittered gold has a hold on me, it's always around the bend, there's always something keeping me from falling in. The same old ties that bound have found a new power again, such innocent desires tower to a whirlwind again, still i find, inside, such strength to be mirrored in me, as kingdoms collide i'll struggle through the darkest of seas, however slowly. Faulty leads, confused i had found a barren oasis, and all the water saved left a mouth full of ashes, and oh how these scars burn their mark on me, as memories of these tendencies, they're always around the bend there's always something keeping me from falling in. The same old ties that bound have found a new power again, such innocent desires tower to a whirlwind again, still i find, inside, such strength to be mirrored in me, a steady fire evaporates the largest of seas however slowly, however long i delay, however lonely if ever i trip on the way, ever i'll nurse this flame, ever i'll walk on the same, steadily freed from these darkest of seas, however slowly...

Rapture 06:36
Drifting river-bound, caught in the banks 'long the way, sheltered and tucked away, safe from the heat of the day, where we pray for the moment again, and we wait for the moment again. High-walled canopy exposed to the fire underneath, burned down hideaway, scorched in the heat of the day, so we pray for that shelter again, and we wait that the rain come again. Petty pride smitten again, crooked spine stiffened again, there's always a light on, so i wrote the rapture down to see how the words would sound, it left such an empty hole, as nothing here can fill the shoes of the soul. Stranded and thrown away, wanderin' the roads 'long the way, renewed, determined to pick up the pace back to you, so we pray for the rapture again, and we wait for directions again. One taste is never enough, no, one taste is never enough, and all i pray is to give this bliss away oh so freely, cos one taste isn't ever enough. There's always a light on. So i wrote the rapture down to see how the words would sound, it left such an empty hole, as nothing here compares to the... nothing here eludes to the... nothing here can fill the shoes of the soul.

Sacrament 04:10
A clue flew through the air and landed in the ear of a humble seeker, seems the guns had scared the deer, driven out of house and home again, with the tracks laid all around I'm following the voice into the desert, now the clay pot holds the ground where we can set root and grow again. Sweet white tufts of hair adorned on the crown of a little angel, and the blue-green turns to grey only when the sunshine hides away, this is the long-lost living line of healers in a world so void of answers, may the deer-track children shine and show us all a way back home again. Blue-green angel show me how to see the world behind ego/mind, teach me how to soar so free. Handcuffed and cast out in the rain, tucked behind enemy lines, as humble as a soft, sweet fawn, more power than the Prohibition Song. Blue-green angel show me how to see the world behind ego/mind, teach me how to fly, blue-green angel show me how to see the light behind ego/mind, teach me how to soar so free. Handcuffed and cast out in the rain, outlawed in ignorance's name. A clue flew through the air and landed in the ear of a humble seeker, seems the guns had scared the deer, driven out of house and home again, when the soul lifts off the ground it casts a dim light into the darkness, now the heart-space holds the crown so we can be sane and whole again. Blue-green angels show me how to see, the world behind ego/mind, teach me how to cry, blue-green angels teach me not to fear (the) simplicity, humility in following the deer...

I'm still too green to be picked from this tree, with layers of hard, hard skin you've yet to soften me, a sour taste leaves a soured face, and I didn't mean to let that side of me show through, once upon a dream I dreamt that you'd come back to me, and with startled sob I stumbled from my sleep, from that space you gleamed and promised me, "eventually," oh, such a simple song to simple hearts you sing. Cast in the fire, expected to wallow through with my heart unglued, rest for awhile, heals of my feet are bruised with no salve to soothe, branded a liar, broken, and severed through roots that led to you...please hear me. I'm still too shy to make the most of this life, though in ways it has helped me see exactly what I need, no more running 'round grazing over empty ground, just the simple words to simple hearts you bring, pen and pad in hand, poetry at your command, oh, such a simple song with simple chords I sing. Please hear me, please don't pass me by, please hear me and heed my cry. I'm still too green, though ripening, I'm still too green, though as the sun turns over and over I can feel myself getting closer, though still too blue to be without you. Cast in the fire, expected to wallow through with my heart unglued, rest for awhile, heals of my feet are bruised with no salve to soothe, branded a liar, broken, and torn in two, infinity uprooted and cast in the fire.

Open up your eyes and smile, friends, we're here together, fix your stare unto the heart that sings forever, where you're free to flow through the things you feel to, this love has been waiting around this whole time without you. Don't let it fall away yet. So scale the well into the water to find treasure, then set your sight unto the blissful light where we'll be together, where we're free to work through the things we just have to, and God isn't up in the clouds, She's right here, where hearts share thrills. Don't let it fall away yet, and though we've all come down here, we see the path She's made clear.

A fortress sways, weathered by the rain, colored walls in caves prophesied the date, so who are we to weep as the corridors crumble at our feet? ample sirens and signals beckoned us to leave. Light speed ahead, let the dying grieve the dead, tired eyes don't see subtle ways that heart deceives, so typical to weep as the turning tides bring letter from the sea, push through, past you, the rearview's a fleeting memory now. Strewn along the shore, tattered strands of hope, still in vain I'd cling, and on highest canopy, the joyous light of dreams waited patiently, such a sweet surprise. A fortress sways, stubborn stains washed away, tired eyes relieved, quickened by a hope believed, sense of self decays as others' needs are placed first today, a higher age to be, with ears to hear what's calling me. Light speed ahead, with higher eyes to see the way, light speed ahead, a humble heart to hear the way, light speed ahead, steady mind to steer the way, just to see the day, just to see the day, light speed ahead...
